The Duryea at Dusk Committee raised $10,750 for the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute at its third Duryea at Dusk 5K and Festival in early June. The event featured a 5K run, a one-mile fun walk and a festival, including food, games, basket raffles, local business vendors and a deejay. Proceeds from this event will help the Cancer Institute continue to ease the burden of cancer in northeastern Pennsylvania and support the local community through their programs and services. From left, first row, are Karen M. Saunders, president, Northeast Regional Cancer Institute; Amanda E. Marchegiani, community relations coordinator, Northeast Regional Cancer Institute; Krista Gromelski, Allison Brudzinski, Katie Brudzinski, Justin Tonte, Aimee Balchune and Kristen Kabacinski, all Duryea at Dusk Committee members. Absent at the time of the photo were Eddie Klein and David Tighe, Duryea at Dusk Committee members.
