School may be out, but a mural design chosen by a sixth-grade student at the Martin L Mattei Middle School has just been completed. Pittston Area art teacher and member of the Pittston Arts Council Mrs. Aryanna Davis completed a mural at Jefferson Park. The mural design was by sixth-grader Abbie Clark and completed on the New Street side of the Fred Demech Building. The mural may some day soon take over even more wall space on the freshly painted building.
