Living Rosary
In observance of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Wyoming Area Catholic School will have its annual “Living Rosary” Holy Hour. Weather permitting, the school community will gather in the parking lot with students holding the Rosary made of biodegradable balloons. Upon completion of the prayers, students will release the Rosary ascend to heaven.
This special event will take place on Monday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m.
Junior Forensic Club
Wyoming Area Catholic School continues the tradition of sponsoring a Junior Forensic Club. Wyoming Area Catholic students in grades 3 and 4 are invited to join this club. Junior Forensics Club will meet after school from 2:45 to 3:15 p.m. on the following Fridays:
· Oct. 25
· Nov. 1
· Nov. 15
Students will learn how to read dramatically to a group then present a story book reading to the children in the primary section during the school day the week of Nov. 12.
Mrs. Dana Ungureit and Ms. Stephanie DePhillips are the Junior Forensic moderators.
SpookWACular
Wyoming Area Catholic School PTG will sponsor a Trunk of Treats for the school community on Friday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the school.
Families of Wyoming Area Catholic School are invited to decorate their trunk of their car with a Halloween theme of their choice or donate two large bags of candy. The candy will be used to distribute to WAC students only who attend in costume.
Cars will have a jar in front of their trunk for voting. Each Wyoming Area Catholic student will receive an index card with car numbers on it to be punched after they visit a car and one raffle ticket to be used to vote for their favorite car. (Raffle ticket will be placed in the jar.)
At the end of the night, the car with the most tickets in their jars will win a $100 Amazon gift card.
Fall Play/Musical
It is with great pleasure that Wyoming Area Catholic school is announcing our school play for the fall, “Shrek Jr. The Musical.” We will present the play the weekend of Nov. 23-24. Director Morgan Evans conduct auditions in October.
