Prescription glasses collection

Wyoming Area Catholic School in Exeter and Pittston Area PDG Leos Club have joined forces to fight blindness and here is how you can help: donate your used prescription glasses.

Glass Glo, the collection container who loves to “eat” glasses, has a place of honor in the Wyoming Area Catholic School lobby. You can “feed” your eyeglasses to Glass Glo who will gladly accept prescription glasses or sunglasses.

Drama Club

Wyoming Area Catholic School’s Drama Ensemble will present the play “Shrek Jr. The Musical” on Nov. 23 and 24 in the school auditorium and gym.

Morgan Evans is the drama club director and choreographer. She has been a long-time performer and lover of theater. Growing up in Peckville, she attended Holy Cross High School and was part of the drama department where she played the role of Zanette in “The Music Man” and Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz.” She continued her education at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Since then, she has done several shows in New York City and was part of the Scranton Shakespeare Festival 2018 season.

The Drama Club is an opportunity for students in grades 3-8 interested in theatre to have a chance to perform (sing/dance/act), work backstage, design costumes, technical (audio/lighting) or just be a part of a club.
