PITTSTON — The Greater Pittston YMCA hosted its Fourth Annual a Jack-O-Lantern Jog (5k) and Fun Run (1 mile walk) on Oct. 26 on the County Rail Trail.
Participants were encouraged to dress in Halloween outfits, with some taking home costume race prizes. All children taking part in the Fun Run received a goodie bag, ribbon and $5 in tickets for the Scarecrow Carnival taking place at the YMCA gym the same day. The carnival coincided with the Scarecrow Festival at the Pittston Memorial Library.
Over 60 individuals and a dozen more families attende the event on a crisp, sunny fall morning along the trail.
