DUNMORE — Recently, the Diocese of Scranton Forensic League held its Fall Forensic Finals at Holy Cross High School. In this competition, 34 students from 10 participating schools in the Holy Redeemer and Holy Cross School Systems competed on the junior varsity and varsity levels.

Forensics provides an opportunity for students to be involved in various forms of public speaking. The theme for the fall competition was “Oral Interpretation of Prose.”

The Wyoming Area Catholic School junior varsity team placed first, second and third in the competition and the varsity placed first.
