DURYEA — The third, fourth, and fifth-grade students of Holy Rosary School recently collaborated in teams to create engineering projects as part of the school-wide STREAM education program.

Third-graders worked in teams to build towers using cups and popsicle sticks. Fourth and fifth-graders used newspaper and tape to create a structure that could hold the weight of a basketball.

Isabella DeQuevedo, Zachary Connors, Jonathon Fitzmaurice and Mia Ferranti use only newspaper and tape to create a structure that can hold the weight of a basketball.
