WEST PITTSTON — The Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club, with assistance from H&H Tactical, provided steel plated body armor safety vests to community police departments in the Wyoming area.

The vests cover the main torso of the wearer with steel protection able to withstand high powered rifle shots. There is the capability to add additional safety devices to the vests.

The Kiwanis Club is actively seeking addition donations from community businesses and individuals to buy more vests for police and first responders who also find themselves in dangerous confrontational situations.
