Recent Wyoming Area graduate Ainsley Flynn is preparing for her first season of National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I field hockey at Lock Haven University.

Lock Haven, which plays in the Atlantic-10 for field hockey only, will open its season Aug. 29 at Syracuse.

Flynn had three goals and was fourth on the team with eight assists last season for Wyoming Area’s Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 and District 2 Class A champions.

“Ainsley was an extremely strong right midfielder for us,” Lady Warriors coach Bree Bednarski said. “She was a huge part of Wyoming Area’s success over the last three years.”
