Andrew Nocito shot a 3-over-par, 38 on Fox Hill Country Club’s front nine Friday morning to help keep Pittston Area undefeated in Wyoming Valley Conference golf with a 158-180 victory over Wilkes-Barre Area.
Noah Gruber added a 39 and Nick Cook shot 40.
All six Patriots finished at 42 or better with Patrick Ruane and Gianni Bartorillo shooting 41 and Ryan Noone posting the 42.
Brady Gerrity led Wilkes-Barre Area with a 39.
Dallas 160, Wyoming Area 165
Ryan Roman from Dallas matched Wyoming Area’s Mitchell Rusnichak for the best round with a 37 Friday and Dallas used its depth to get past the Warriors and remain tied for first with Pittston Area at 6-0.
Holy Redeemer is 5-0 and Lake-Lehman is 4-0.
Robbie Yatsko added a 39 for the Warriors.

Pittston Area is playing shorthanded for the second straight season.
The Lady Patriots had just four players, instead of the full lineup of seven, in Thursday’s season opener and forfeited one singles and one doubles match.
Brooke Albertelli and Isabella Hughes played singles while Peyton Bailey and Rylee Rivera made up the doubles team. Hughes was the only one to win a game.
