SCRANTON — Pittston resident Brody Martin contributed to the Red team’s 115-104 win over the Blue in the boys nightcap to Monday night’s Lackawanna Interscholastic Athletic Association Senior All-Star Basketball Games.
Martin, who helped Scranton Prep to a District 2 Class 4A title and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state quarterfinal berth, was part of the Red starting lineup. He had six points, three offensive rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the win.
Cameron Parker and Logan Fanning, who led Old Forge to a Class 2A state final appearance, played for the Blue team.
Parker was the team’s third-leading scorer. He was 6-for-11 from the floor, hitting a 3-pointer to finish with 13 points. Parker also had two rebounds and two assists.
Fanning did not miss a shot. He hit three times from the floor, turning one into a three-point play for seven points. Fanning also grabbed four rebounds.
Dunmore’s Jimmy Clark was the Most Valuable Player of the winning team. He made six 3-pointers while scoring a game-high 26 points and also led his team with seven rebounds while sharing the lead in assists (three) and steals (two).
Jordan Shaffer from Abington Heights was the Blue team MVP with 25 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
