Morgan Mesaris had three hits in her fourth game as a member of the Mansfield University softball team.
Mesaris, a junior outfielder from Pittston Area, stopped first at Lackawanna College where she batted .500 with eight home runs and 25 RBI last season.
In her second start with the Mounties, Mesaris went 3-for-4 and drove in the game’s first two runs during a 4-3 victory over Wilson College March 15 at North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Mesaris was 4-for-16 (.250) with two walks in nine games, including four starts, going into the weekend.

Mansfield was 4-8 overall as it prepared to open the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division schedule with consecutive doubleheaders at Lock Haven Saturday and Sunday.
