Brandon Matthews shot rounds of 71 and 76 Wednesday and Thursday, missing par and the cut line by three strokes in the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego.
The Pittston Area graduate wound up tied for 99th out of 157 players in the PGA Tour event.
The 28-year-old from Dupont ranks third on the tour in average driving distance at 320.1 yards, but has made just one of nine cuts in the 2022-23 season.
