Tanner Osborn, Jake Grzech and Josiah Lyons all had four first-place finishes Tuesday as Pittston Area routed visiting Berwick 116-67 in a Wyoming Valley Conference boys swimming meet.
The Patriots won all 10 events that were contested. Neither team had an entry in diving or the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Osborn won the 500 freestyle, the only event with two entries from each team, and 200 freestyle. Grzech won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke. Josiah Lyons won the 50 freestyle, the only other event with four entries, and 100 freestyle.
All three were also on the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay with Frank Garcia.
Berwick had just two swimmers and, therefore, did not enter any of the relays.
Elijah Lyons and Zhi Lin took first place in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke.
Wyoming Valley West 99, Pittston Area 42
Pittston Area fell in its conference finale Thursday, finishing 3-8.
Tanner Osborn won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle for the Patriots.
Lake-Lehman 67, Wyoming Area 43
Lake-Lehman defeated Wyoming Area Tuesday in a meet at the Dallas Middle School.
The Warriors slipped to 1-9 with one meet remaining.
Wilkes-Barre Area 91, Pittston Area 47
Wilkes-Barre Area defeated visiting Pittston Area Monday.
Tanner Osborn won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle and was part of a win in the closing 400 freestyle relay.
Frank Garcia, Elijah Lyons and Josiah Lyons were the other relay team members.
