Megan Beppler has started as a defender in all nine field hockey games at Lock Haven University, which competes on the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I level in the sport.

The junior from Wyoming Area has started 37 of the 38 games she has played in her three-year career.

Beppler has two defensive saves this season, preventing goals on shots that had otherwise gotten past the goaltender.

Lock Haven is 1-1 in the Atlantic 10 and 2-7 overall, including a pair of losses to Syracuse and Maryland, two of the top 10 teams in the country.
