Ava Menditto won the maximum four events Wednesday as Wyoming Area routed Holy Redeemer 132-49 in Wyoming Valley Conference girls swimming.

Wyoming Area joined Dallas at 2-0 to share first place in the 12-team league. The other 10 teams all have at least one loss or tie.

Menditto showed off her endurance. She won the 200-yard individual medley and 500 freestyle along with contributing to wins in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.

Emma Kratz and Sofia Menta each won an individual freestyle event and were part of two relay wins.

Kratz won the 100 and was part of 200 relay wins, both medley and freestyle.

Menta won the 200 and was on the two freestyle relay wins.

Ella McKernan won the 100 breaststroke and 200 medley relay.

Ainsley Flynn and Lucia Campenni were also on both freestyle relay wins.

Franny Graham was the diving winner.

Ella Campenni led off the 200 medley relay win to begin the day.

Holy Redeemer 80, Wyoming Area boys 40

Wyoming Area’s loss to Holy Redeemer Wednesday dropped the Warriors to 0-2.

Zhiwen Tang, who won the 200 freestyle, and Jon Cortez, who won the 100, were also on the winning 200 freestyle relay team. They were joined on the winning relay by Savino Sabatini and Trevor Winslow.
