D.J. Fox scored 18 points to lead a balanced attack Saturday afternoon as Old Forge ripped visiting Wyoming Seminary 67-28 in a District 2 Class 2A boys basketball semifinal.

The Blue Devils (18-5) will face the winner of the semifinal that was being played between Lackawanna Trail and Mountain View later Saturday afternoon, after deadline for this edition. The Class 2A championship game is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza where Old Forge is 2-1 in previous finals.

Old Forge has posted that record despite playing 19 of its 23 games against larger schools. The five losses have come against teams that reached the district final in larger classifications. The Blue Devils lost twice each to Class 3A finalists Riverside (22-2) and Holy Cross (22-3) and once to Class 4A finalist Valley View (19-5).

The Blue Devils ran away early. They led 16-3 after one quarter and 37-12 at halftime.

Cameron Krushnowski drilled five 3-pointers while scoring 17 points.

Ryan DeMarco contributed 12 points and seven assists. Logan Fanning had seven points and 10 rebounds.

Anthony Evan led the Blue Knights with nine points.

Old Forge defeated Lackawanna Trail 56-33 and Mountain View 55-35 in early-season, non-league matchups.
