Wyoming Area softball player Kristi Skok recently announced the decision to continue her academic and athletic careers at King’s College during a signing ceremony at the school. Skok started from early in her freshman year in softball where she plays third base and first base. She also made some varsity basketball appearances as a freshman, saw regular playing time as a sophomore and started most of her senior year in that sport. In softball, Skok was 11-for-16 (.688) in her most recent five games through Thursday to take over the team lead in hits (18), RBI (12) and batting average (.500). She is batting at least .379 for the third straight season and has a .367 average with 27 runs and 46 RBI in 72 career games.
