Cash bingo fundraiser
The Greater Pittston Area Little League, consisting of league from Avoca/ Dupont, Pittston City, and Duryea, will hold its yearly cash bingo fundraiser on June 8 at the Seton Catholic Hall, 37 William St., Pittston. Doors open at 6 p.m. Bingo begins at 7 p.m.Admission is $25 in advance and includes 20 regular games of bingo. Each regular game is worth $100. Multiple winners share the prize. There will also be special games worth $150 and a coverall worth $250. These games are sold separately. Kiwanis golf tournament
Pittston Kiwanis Club’s 34th annual golf tournament to benefit Pittston YMCA and Kiwanis youth programs will be held Friday, June 14 at Emanon Country Club in Falls beginning at 11:30 a.m. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Cost is $75 and includes light lunch, buffet dinner, beverages, golf, cart and prizes. Waleski Basketball Camp
Registrations are being accepted for the Stan Waleski Basketball Camp to be held for boys and girls in grades K through 8 at the Greater Pittston YMCA June 24 to Aug. 2. The camp stresses skills, fundamentals, competitions, team play and fun with all players receiving a camp certificate and t shirt.
