Brandon Matthews is playing the same events, but those names have a different name.

The PGA Tour reached a 10-year agreement earlier this month to rename the Web.com Tour as the Korn Ferry Tour.

The change took place immediately.

The Korn Ferry Tour is the top developmental professional golf tour in the U.S., essentially serving as the top minor league to the PGA Tour.

Matthews, a former state high school champion from Pittston Area, is among the players on the tour.

The 24-year-old from Dupont is struggling in his second season on the tour.

Matthews continues to lead the Korn Ferry Tour in average driving distance at 329.7 yards, but has reached the weekend just once in the last 14 events.

The last seven tournaments for Matthews include five missed cuts and two withdrawals.

Matthews has earned $8,215 to rank 170th on the tour.
