Annie Bagnall scored three of the four playoff goals Holy Redeemer used to make its first District 2 championship game appearance in girls soccer.
Bagnall, a senior forward from West Wyoming, scored two first-half goals Oct. 26 when Holy Redeemer ended Wyoming Area’s season with a 3-0 victory in the Class 2A quarterfinals.
The all-stater, who has committed to a scholarship from Division I Siena University, scored the only goal of a 1-0 semifinal victory over Lakeland Tuesday.
Holy Redeemer’s playoff run came to an end Friday night at Lake-Lehman with a 6-0 loss.
Bagnall missed the end of the game when she was one of two Royals to be carded twice.
Lake-Lehman scored three goals in the final six minutes while Holy Redeemer was two players short.
Kasey Danko had the other Holy Redeemer goal in the quarterfinal win over Wyoming Area.
Carly Cavanaugh had an assist.
Holy Redeemer outshot Wyoming Area, 12-3.
Wyoming Area finished the season with a 10-9 record.
