AVOCA — Honors for the first male and female finishers in the second annual Easter Egg Hunt 5K Race sponsored by the Langcliffe Presbyterian Church of Avoca went to borough resident Michael McAndrew and his niece Heather McAndrew.

Michael finished with a time of 19:38 while Heather clocked in at a time of 24:50.

Proceeds from the event held March 25 benefited the Avoca Hose Co. and Ruth’s Place women’s shelter.
