What can one say about Easter,
when there won’t be any nor’easter.
We sacrificed for Lent, but someone gave up more,

his life for us whom we adore.
As Christians we implore him,
to find peace and happiness in the interim.
God is good, God is great,
we’re all made in his image and not to berate.
Yes we have sadness and joys too,
yet we do on daily to pray to you.
Life is good but sometimes hard,
still we endure and have to be on guard
Now that Easter has finally come,
we look forward to church services, somewhat on the run.
It is a time for families to visit no matter the weather,
just like birds of a feather we flock together.
Rejoice on this Easter day,
for God is risen and that’s okay.
