PLAINS TWP. — The Greater Pittston YMCA will hold its annual awards at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the Keystone Grand Ballroom of Mohegan Sun Casino.
Every year, the Greater Pittston YMCA honors leaders who have positively impacted both the YMCA and the entire community. This year’s honorees include:
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Clifford and Ruth Melberger
• Corporate Distinction Award: Susquehanna Brewing Company
• YMCA Spirit of Community Award: The Sidari Foundation
• Sam Milazzo Volunteer of the Year Award: Jennifer Borton
• James & Jean Yates Youth Leadership Award: Olivia Meuser
The master of ceremonies for the event will be Michael I. Butera, Esq. This year’s recipients were all selected for their leadership and service to our community through volunteer activities that bring about positive social change throughout all of Northeastern PA.
Sponsorships are being accepted for the program booklet and overall sponsorship of the dinner; Platinum sponsor – $5,000; Gold sponsor – $2500; Silver sponsor – $1500; Bronze sponsor – $1000; ¼ page ad – $200; ½ page ad – $400; and full page ad – $750.
