Local, state, county, and school resource officers, along with firefighters, participated in the second annual Shop with a Cop program at the City of Pittston. Two-hundred children were given $100 cash to shop for family and friends aided by a law enforcement officer.

PITTSTON — The 2nd Annual Shop with a Cop program took place Saturday at the Tomato Festival grounds.
Two hundred children participated in the event where the organizers gave each child $100 to spend with 40 participating merchants under a large, heated tent. Children were able to have their gifts wrapped free at the conclusion of their shopping.
Christmas music was provided as well as a food truck available on-site.
