The West Pittston Historical Society will host an event to showcase items from the society;s collection from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the West Pittston Library.

The public is invited to attend to see the display of borough memorabilia.

Visitors are also invited to bring along old photos, slides, school items and memorabilia they think will contribute to continuing the legacy of West Pittston’s history.

Scanners will be available on site to digitize the pieces and all photos and items will be returned that day.

Residents are encouraged to search their homes for historical artifacts to share with future generations. Those who are unable to attend this event can share items with the society by emailing high-resolution photos to westpittstonhistory@gmail.com.
