PITTSTON – St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, 205 N. Main St., will hold its popular chicken parmesan dinner as a drive-thru event on Sunday, June 11.

Halushki is $9 per quart, noodles and cottage cheese with onion are $9 a quart and potato pancakes will be $1.50 each, limit of 12 per order. Pay by cash or check at time of pickup.
Place your order in advance by Saturday, June 10, or earlier. Call Mike at 570-704-6520 or Linda at 570-905-7387 for orders or questions. A limited number of additional dinners may be available day of the event, but ordering in advance is advised.
St. Michael’s fundraisers defray the cost of essential repairs.
One of these is a recent installation of electronic church bells. Sadly, the original 108-year-old tower bells are no longer functioning. The church is also raising funds for repairs to the church roof. The support received from the community is very much appreciated and critical to ensuring St. Michael’s remains an iconic part of Greater Pittston.
The church is a block north of the Fort Jenkins Bridge identifiable by its blue domes. Fr. Andrii Dumnych, is pastor of the parish and St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Swoyersville.
