Aubrey Mytych made five starts and appeared in all 18 games in her first season at Old Dominion University, where the sophomore field hockey forward transferred after beginning her collegiate career at Penn State.
Old Dominion went 13-5 in a season that ended with a 2-1 loss to the University of Connecticut in the Big East semifinals.
Mytych’s only goal of the season came in the first quarter and proved to be the game-winner in a 2-0, Big East victory over Georgetown Oct. 8.
The Wyoming Seminary graduate from Wyoming took nine shots, six of which were on goal.

Mytych appeared in six games, starting one for Penn State, as a freshman in 2019. She had an assist in a game against her current team.
