Chase Yochem produced his 100th career hit late in the season while leading the King’s College baseball teams in many offensive categories.
The junior outfielder/pitcher from Wyoming Area batted .410 with 57 hits, six home runs, 35 RBI, a .475 on-base percentage and a .633 slugging percentage, all team-leading totals. He also had 13 doubles and 39 runs scored, each second-best on the team, while starting 36 games.
King’s finished 16-21, including 6-17 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom.
Yochem struck out six in three innings while giving up one earned run (3.00 ERA) in his only pitching appearance.
Caleb Graham, another junior from Wyoming Area, played in nine games, making one start. The infielder/pitcher was 1-for-9 (.111) at the plate with an RBI and gave up nine earned runs (22.08 ERA) in 3 2/3 innings in two pitching appearances.
Aidan Mehal from Pittston Area pitched in three games. The freshman gave up nine earned runs in 2 2/3 innings (30.37 ERA).
