Brandon Matthews shot rounds of 73 Thursday and Friday to finish at 4-over-par, 146 and miss the cut for the remaining two rounds of this weekend’s AT&T Byron Nelson Classic at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Tex.
Matthews, a 28-year-old from Dupont, has made just five of 18 cuts this season, his first as a member of the PGA Tour.
The Pittston Area graduate has earned $249,949 on the season. He ranks second on the tour in average driving distance at 321 yards.
