Two players from Wyoming Area and one from Pittston Area will be in action Sunday in the second annual District 2 Senior Field Hockey All-Star Classic at Wyoming Valley West.
Abby Gober and Bayli Grossi will represent state Class A quarterfinalist Wyoming Area. Gabby Wassel is Pittston Area’s player.
Gober and Grossi will join seniors from state champion Wyoming Seminary, Abington Heights, Lackawanna Trail, Wyoming Valley West, Dallas, Northwest, Lake-Lehman and Honesdale on the West team.
The East team features players from Hanover Area, Nanticoke, Berwick, Coughlin, Holy Redeemer, GAR, Wallenpaupack, Delaware Valley and GAR.
The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Wyoming Valley West’s stadium in Kingston.
Proceeds of the game will benefit Valley With a Heart.
