A chicken barbecue dinner will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 2. The dinner is to benefit the youth trip to Washington DC. With a $6 donation, customers will receive a ticket for a chicken barbecue dinner served with macaroni and cheese, vegetable, roll and dessert. Tickets may be reserved by calling the church, 570-654-0283. Tickets will also be available at the door. The dinner is eat in or take out.

Our Lady of Fatima is calling to Pay for Peace in the World and Meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary. In response to her call, a monthly evening of prayer and song will be held in the chapel. The evenings will be led by Ernie Pappa and will include hymns and Fatima prayers, the Rosary, scriptural mysteries in song, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Prayers will be at 6 p.m. Monday, June 18; Monday, July 16.

The old church pews will be removed from the church to make way for interior renovation work Monday, May 21. The pews will be available to people who would like them. Those interested are to make their request at the parish office as soon as possible.

A chicken dinner featuring Kundla’s famous BBQ chicken will be held at the St. Anthony’s Center, 156 Erie Ave., Exeter on Sunday, May 20. The dinner includes half a chicken, potato, vegetable, salad, roll, and dessert. Takeout is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and eat-in from noon to 3 p.m. Cost is $10 per dinner, pre-sales only.
