Madelyn Keating finished 148th out of 461 runners Sept. 13 at the Southern Showcase in Jacksonville, Fla. to open her sophomore season on the Mississippi State University cross country team.
The Wyoming Area graduate ran in all six of the team’s races last season, then also competed in track and field.
Mississippi State placed eighth out of the 49 full teams at the Southern Showcase.
